Pennsole ("we," "us," or "our") is a small family-run service built for Pennsylvania homeschool families. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Logs, portfolios, documents, and other content you upload
Payment and billing information processed by our payment provider

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with trusted service providers who help us operate Pennsole (such as hosting, database, email, and payment processors), or when required by law.

Your records belong to you

Content you create in Pennsole — logs, portfolios, affidavits, evaluations — is yours. You can export or delete it at any time from your account.

Children's privacy

Pennsole is intended solely for use by parents and legal guardians managing a homeschool program. Any information regarding minor children is provided and controlled by the parent or guardian who owns the account. All child-related data is treated as part of the family’s private records.

We strongly encourage users to minimize the upload of identifiable photos of children. For maximum privacy and security, we recommend uploading only images of schoolwork, projects, or documents rather than personal photos of children. Family photos or trip images can remain private on your device and be manually added to exported PDFs for your evaluator, if needed.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest, to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep your family's records safe.

Your choices

Access, update, or delete your account at any time
Export your records as PDFs or files
Opt out of non-essential email by adjusting account preferences

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version here and update the "Last updated" date above.
