When is it due?
Notify your local school district superintendent in writing of your intent to home-instruct, by July 1. Families starting mid-year must file within 14 days of beginning home instruction. Send it to your local school district superintendent. Keep a dated copy for your records — certified mail or email with a read receipt is a good habit.
